This course is designed for operator competency covering NTPC units CS10 - chainsaw maintenance and CS16 - crosscutting to 2 x cutter bar length or 36". Note Courses covering felling timber up to 36" are also available Course programme
Day 1 Classroom based covering safety, maintenance, way leaves, law Day 2 On Forestry site - Fuels and fuelling, site inspection, hidden dangers, pressures and tensions, timber assessment Day 3 On Forestry site - Practical work and assessment
