CPC - TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT
Controlled by the OCR (formerly RSA)
There are 4 set examination days in a year - March, June,
September, December.
Exams can only be taken at OCR approved examination centres.
CPC is split into National and International.
To hold International CPC candidate must also have National.
Exams are either for Freight related or Passenger qualification
type. It is not possible to teach both at the same time. Freight is usually
the priority choice.
Examinations now are very much harder than they were
prior to October 99 and now include a multi-choice written element and
case study.
N.B. Candidates need to be reasonably literate and
numerate.
NATIONAL COURSE
This a seven day (7) course + Examination.
INTERNATIONAL COURSE
This a two day (2) course + Examination.
Both National & International exams are held on the
same day - candidates can take them all in one sitting.
Examinations are held locally at Honiton
These course dates are normally designed to leave a week
before the exam for revision exercises.
N.B The examination closing date to OCR is 30
days before the fixed National date and a registration fee of £100
is required before this date.
