SAFETY IN DEEP EXCAVATIONS - 1 Day course

The one day course is intended to give practical instruction to the management and control of trench work and is intended for supervisors and operatives involved in excavations

Course content

• Excavation procedures and guarding excavations

• Timber / Hydraulic methods of support

• Regulations for examination, inspections, certification

• Inspection procedures

• Protection of overhead and underground electrical cables

All delegates will be reminded how to apply risk assessments to control dangers
