DANGEROUS GOODS SAFETY ADVISER
(DGSA)
There are new requirements coming into force on January
1st 2000 (at present details are as follows)
Controlled by SQA - Scottish Qualifications Authority
Exams are held on the last Thursday of every month at
SQA centres.
January - March - May - July - September - November
Candidates should have good knowledge of dangerous goods
in advance.
The exam is split into modules - candidates must have
at least:
Core
Mode of Transport
Chemicals
Candidates may take books into the examination room with
them, as they need to quote their references with answers. Candidates
need to buy about £120 of books and legislation (photocopies are not allowed).
