SCAFFOLD APPRECIATION

SCAFFOLD APPRECIATION - 1 Day course

Persons responsible for employees working from a scaffold and persons responsible for signing Register F91 should attend this course. All companies using scaffold have a duty of care to ensure that the scaffold is inspected weekly and is safe to use at all times.

Course content

Regulations governing scaffolding, tube fittings, boards, bracing, ties, access and egress by ladder. Gin wheels, loading, bridging. Hoist towers, fan boards, public protection.

Course objectives

Delegates will understand the Construction (working place) regulations 1996 and be aware of supervisors responsibilities for work associated with scaffold and to adopt safe working practices.
