EB CONSTRUCTION TRAINING

 

Ensuring good practice

Operating in the south west (Devon, Somerset and Dorset), safety is the top priority for EB Construction Training. It’s of the utmost importance that people operating large, dangerous pieces of lifting machinery have received good quality training to ensure that the correct procedures are being followed at all times.

EB Construction Training is an approved centre for the provision of construction plant training and assessment through awarding body NPORS, the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme. Sessions are a mix of classroom theory and practical assessment with a no-nonsense approach backed up by many years of on-site experience. Training grants may be available through CITB.

Accredited courses are available in:

• Crane operator training 

• Slinger / signaller training

• Appointed person training 

• Crane / lifting supervisor training

• Plant Machinery Marshall / Banksman training

• Forklift training

 

Training can take place at our offices in East Devon or it can be delivered at your site. One-to-one sessions are available for a single candidate with a maximum group size of six.

Practical assessment and an exam take place to ensure that everyone is fully confident and able to carry out their work with a proper understanding of the processes. It’s the perfect way to learn about new pieces of equipment before having to use them in a working environment.

​

Construction training is ideal for newly recruited personnel, seasonal workers or as refresher training. 

​
