Anyone with a construction qualification will know that they have to renew their operator card at set periods. This was suspended during the coronavirus lockdown but EB Construction Training is now up and running again and is happy to take bookings for the courses listed on our website.
For the safety of candidates and staff, social distancing and PPE measures are in place and hand sanitizer is freely available. We would advise you to wear a face mask for the classroom sessions but it is not mandatory.
If you would like to book a training date please contact us or telephone 01395 446 446.
Guidance for NPORS / CSCS Operator Card Holders
Further to guidance already issued regarding the NPORS / CSCS operator card we would like to update all card holders with the latest developments from NPORS. Whilst the HS&E test centres were closed card holders were unable to take these tests and therefore not able to extend their Red Trained Operator Cards or renew their Blue Competent Operator Cards.
NPORS took the decision to extend the registration period of those cards due to expire from March 2020 for 6 months at no cost to the card holder or employer. Replacement cards will not be issued in the first instance but if you require a card please let us know and we will arrange for one to be issued free of charge. Though the registration date printed on your current card will show as expired, your registration information can be verified via the NPORS online card checker and QR code on the cards.
How to Apply
Please contact NPORS direct on 01606 351 240 where you will be asked to verify your details. Once this is done the registration extension can be applied to your operator record.
Alternatively, EB Construction Training can do this on your behalf – please contact us or telephone 01395 446 446.
