Lifting derelict boats from Brixham Marina - case study

This week Carter Plant Hire has been working with Marine and Boat Recycling to lift end-of-life yachts and boats from Brixham Marina and transport them to their recycling facility in Tavistock.

The yacht shown above was certainly past its best but it will be completely recycled or disposed of with zero material going to landfill. In total, six vessels were removed and transported in one day. Hard work, but very rewarding - cleaning up our waterways and knowing that nothing will go to waste.
