Threading steels through a dormer window - Case study
Updated: Apr 20
Carter Plant Hire has been working with Escott Carpentry on a loft conversion. Steels to support the floor needed to be gently threaded through a dormer window opening and small hole in the existing roof tiles and then put into place inside the building.
As you can imagine, this required a delicate touch on the hand-held crane controls, which was supplied by Ben Carter working with the builder.
Carter Plant Hire operates several mobile cranes of different sizes as well as lorry loaders as shown above. Please feel free to contact us or telephone 01395 446446 if you are interested in our services. We will be happy to help whatever the size of the job.
