All training was suspended during the first coronavirus lockdown but this time around they can open as long as all recommended Covid-19 safety measures are in place. Therefore, EB Construction Training is open and happy to take bookings for the courses listed on our website.
Training can be delivered on site, as long as you have suitable plant machinery and a room that can be used to take the written part of the test. Alternatively, you can come to our headquarters in East Devon – whichever suits you best.
Whether you need to update existing qualifications or you are new to the particular plant machinery, we are here to help. For the safety of candidates and staff, social distancing and PPE measures are in place and hand sanitizer is freely available. You will be required to wear a face mask.

To reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmissions, employers and training providers should manage the risks of training and consider:
Checking in advance of the training going ahead that no one is exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms;
Providing a system for entering and leaving sites that maintains social distancing and minimises touch points and shared contact surfaces, such as pens, pointers, or touch screens;
Ensuring that staff and all visitors have easy and safe access to toilets and handwashing facilities with hot and cold running water, and that handwashing is carried out at regular intervals;
Considering how social distancing can be maintained;
Sanitising shared surfaces such as equipment controls between users;
Providing fresh air ventilation wherever possible by opening windows or doors. Mechanical ventilation should not be set to air recirculation mode;
Minimising face to face work wherever possible.
Face coverings are not PPE and are not a substitute for suitable risk control measures.
