Generating a lift - case study

This week Carter Plant Hire has been working at Willowglen Renewables again lifting a 21 ton generator into place for EngTech.

Spreader bars are used to protect the unit during lifting

As with any large, heavy item of this shape, care had to be taken to protect it during the lifting process; therefore spreader bars were used to keep the strops from pulling against the top edges of the unit. This level of care only comes with the correct equipment and years of experience - experience that comes as standard with Carter Plant Hire.
