Lifting trawler parts - case study

This week Carter Plant Hire have been lifting parts into place for the Brixham-based fishing company, Waterdance. The Constant Friend is being converted from a stern trawler to a scalloper at Exmouth Marina and we were tasked with lifting its new conveyors, side skirts and derrick into place.

This was a delicate and accurate procedure, requiring precision and a steady hand as space was tight.
