Carter Plant Hire has been working with DNA Construction on a complex and ambitious scheme, by Fort Bovisand Developments. The project aims to bring the derelict Forts and associated buildings back into use alongside the construction of new detached and semi-detached residential units and a waterside apartment building. The site, previously occupied by the MOD, is also a listed scheduled Monument and as an SSSI is home to a number of protected species.
The combination of the site's historic use, and its single access cliff edge location make this an interesting and highly challenging development project - one which requires the skill of an experienced crane operator, which is why DNA Construction is trusting this sensitive site to Carter Plant Hire.
